We now have a full-time fabricator, which means we can accommodate more fabrication projects and get them done even faster than before. We can often do smaller welding jobs on a same-day basis. It also means that we're now able to offer some of our most popular "custom" parts (like exhausts and front-mount intercooler kits) as ready-made...in stock and ready to ship or install. As always, all Agile Parts are hand-made at our shop, TIG welded, and fabricated using high quality materials and components that will last. Please visit the Agile Parts page and the specific parts pages listed below it in the menu for more information or to purchase online. You may also stop by the shop, or call us to purchase.
If you want a unique set up that no one else has, or if you need a part custom-made that isn't available on the market, we're here to design it and create it for you. Unlike many competitors that just throw some piping together and hope that it works, all of our custom creations are engineered to provide the optimum performance. Piping sizes, number of bends, bend radius, bend angle and location, and flow dynamics are all thoroughly thought out. We build parts like we do for a reason--they make more power.
If you are doing a project yourself and just need some basic welding services, we are here to assist you. Many customers just need a fitting welded into a pipe or a bracket welded to a part. We welcome small welding jobs, which often do not need an appointment. We use a Miller Syncrowave 250DX Tig welder for all welding and our welds are of the highest quality, both structurally and aesthetically.
We also have an in-house pipe expander and beader, so if you need a quick expansion or bead done, or a whole series of pipes expanded or beaded, we are at your service.
Whether your car runs on the drag strip or road race course, a well-engineered and well-built cage is imperative--it will help to prevent injury and stiffen your car's chassis. From basic 4 point roll bars to 8 point or more weld-in cages, we can fabricate whatever you need. Like a building, the overall strength of a cage design revolves around its foundation. Here at Agile we select highly structural locations to attach the cage to the chassis. These locations are further strengthened with plate steel and then the cage is welded to these points. From these points steel tubing of proper material, diameter, and wall thickness are selected in accordance with racing sanctioning bodies and safety needs to complete the cage work. Our cages are designed primarily with driver safety in mind; however significant efforts are made to minimize deflection of the chassis, especially under torsional loads. We have experience fabricating cages with both mild steel and 4130 chrome-moly. In spite of its higher cost and greater difficulty of welding, chrome-moly is our preferred cage material due to its higher strength. Safety always comes first.
